Mistakes in assembling the PC (by beginners)

Assemble a PC is something that is not difficult anymore, because in addition to easy access to information, standard PC components are now likely to be easy to understand and very intuitive, as well as the instructions are very complete. but this does not guarantee the assembly process is not infallible, either intentionally or unintentionally overlooked.
It was almost a year, I assemble a PC, and every so often meet with some of the mistakes made by my colleague fellow technicians, and also some assembly errors that I encountered on my pc the correct assembly. bekaribat some of which can be fatal and potentially lead to permanent damage.
following some common mistakes I encounter based on the experience:

1. Cable management: Cable management or in terms of "relaxed" its cable tidiness still sometimes go unnoticed, I've often encountered cases where the power cord CPU / CPU fan on a fan-free menjutai processor, it can cause stuck on the fan power cableif both are in contact, and when the fan is not running, just 30 minutes, the system will stop because the processor stops working due to overheating. cable management in addition to having an aesthetic function (interior tidiness PC) also helps smooth air flow.then, how to organize a good cable?, unites the cable between each other, can with a wire, cable ties, or with tape, no need to hide behind the mainboard, the origin cascade cables away from moving parts and no bersliweran. besides, if some wires are strung together, but separately (processor fan power cable), to make it look neat, can be tricked by turning (plintir) cable that are bound to one another.
2. Thermal Paste: thermal paste / thermal compound according to the rules can only be used once, and if already unpacked, then the remaining thermal paste that sticks to be cleaned and replaced with new ones, I've found a PC experiencing overheating problems, initially the owner complained about his computer thatso slow, after the check, in bios, processor temperature shows the 80 degrees Celsius (enough to fry an egg), whereas the processor fan is still working, after the check, the bottom of the heatsink is dry and hollow, the owner admitted to disassemble for cleaning duston the heatsink, but unfortunately not cleaned and given a new thermal paste. Excessive heat in a long time is a major cause permanent damage to the processor.

The remaining thermal paste, should be replaced immediately

3. Processor fan mounting: renggangnya issue peranah fan I foundon the LGA 775 based board, for those who do not understand how to install, it is rather less complicated than the socket am2/am2 + /AM3, according to the user the correct way is by pressing the twopins facing each other (diagonal) simultaneously and the two other pins are also simultaneously thereafter. but sometimes the installerforgot to pay attention to the direction of the arrow on the pin beforeplugging, resulting in the pin is accidentally released when thecomputer has finished assembled.
position of the pin / fan right foot before the fasten.

4. Static electricity (static electricity): Static electricity is electricity that is not moving (Melepasmu), static electricity can be containedin the body, static electricity when terkonduksi to PC devices that are sensitive to ektrostatis, could potentially cause permanentdamage. It is already common knowledge, but sometimes there justare dismissed. if not risky, to what the makers of computer peripheral products with antistatic bag wrap?
anti-static bag

that body free from static electricity, before we can use to assemblean anti static wrist (anti-static wristband), but this item is one of themandatory items that seemed hard to find, but static electricity can still be eliminated from the body with a simple method, ie by touching all something made of metal (for example PC cases)
antistatic wrist

besides the body, the goods around us can also be containedstatic electricity, therefore, it helps when putting the PCcomponents (eg VGA / memory / mainboard), place the objects in which if safe (table wood, cardboard mainboard) and Avoid puttingon barang2 can load static electricity (fur rugs / wool / plastic).case of damage due to static electricity and the possibility of itsoccurrence probability is very small, but will result in damage toreply fatal event, therefore, appropriate action is to avoid it.

5. HDD mounting (mounting the hard drive): This issue may nolonger heard, but at the time of the IDE cable is still popular, I oftenfind hdd imposed depend on 51 / 4 inch bay (the place for DVD /CD-rom) as the reason for the meeting with the CD rom, so canonly use one IDE cable, it was a big mistake, because in essence,mounting / installation of the holder of each peripheral should bemeeting in the case in order to avoid wobble / vibration that can beannoying, especially on the HDD.

6. Front panel connector: Some people sometimes forget to consider the composition of the front panel connector for haste in assembling, consequently, some indicators are sometimes notfunctioning, such as HDD activity LED / power (on) LED. althoughsimple and very easy to memorize, in fact some pengunaexperience confusion when they wanted to put it back after unpacking their motherboards. The following basic scheme
basic scheme on the Front panel connector

7. System / bios speaker: forgot to set up the speaker system is not very big impact, but basically the speaker system is an early indication when the computer has trouble. for those who understand, this speaker system to help in the debugging process, in order toimmediately identify the source of the damage / error and promptlycope. on new motherboards, especially high-end class, the presence of the speaker system began shifting with the application of phase 7 / debug LED display that is more easily understood /interpreted.

8. Finishing: in assembling the PC there are times when errors occur, therefore it is better not immediately close the case prior tothe meeting convinced the system is running properly (on) agartidakwork twice (apart pairs), and if there is something wrong can be fixed directly (for example, no cable forgot tepasang), this is merelyfor the sake of time and energy efficiency.

Still there are some other mistakes, but those things above are isu2that I often found and most often occurs among other mistakes that occur in the process of assembling a PC.
